What are your licensing credentials?

I am licensed in Washington State as an LMHC and Colorado as an LPC. My license information is as follows:

LMHC #LH60821924 (Expires: 2022-08-31)

LCPC #LPC.0015126 (Expires: 2023-08-31)

How much do sessions cost?

My standard fee for a 60 minute session is $150. I also provide 90 minute sessions for couples, EMDR or upon request for $225. I offer secure credit card payments through my online portal. I am a participating provider with Building Hope, which offers therapy scholarships to those who live or work in Summit County.

Please note that I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. With less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged for the full session fee. Insurance does not cover the cost of a late cancellation or no show appointment.

Can I speak with you before I schedule a first session?

I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation before we get started to help you make the most informed decision possible when selecting a therapist.

What can I expect from a first session?

I am mindful that our first session together may bring up anxiety or nervous anticipation, that you may have a lot you want to say, or may be unsure of what you want to say at all. I use our first session to explain a bit more about confidentiality, your rights as a client, and my standards of practice. I will be attuned to you and what you feel comfortable with sharing as we are first getting to know each other. The most important work we will do together in our first session is to build a level of rapport and comfort that will allow us to collaborate together in future sessions in a way that feels safe and supportive as we identify your specific goals and needs.

What is EMDR therapy?

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a well-researched, evidenced-based therapy that helps the brain to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories. EMDR is used for treatment of PTSD, anxiety, panic disorders, grief and loss, eating disorders, and chronic medical issues.
